He woke, his pillow wet with tears shed as he had dreamt....Of what? His love, his life. Gone.....He remembered a laughing face, a smile like sunshine, enough to eventually melt even his icy heart.

Obsidian black eyes stared unseeingly at the sky. The figure stood and began to walk quietly. Tears, like so many liquid crystal drops, streamed down pale cheeks. Fists clenched. His heart ached, and his mind reached, projecting itself beyond all normal senses, perceiving the spirit and time around his body. His mind whirled as so many things were taken in.

Far beyond the distance, and spaces between us.
Love was when I loved you. One true time, I hold you.

He remembered hours they spent together.

You're here, there's nothing to fear.

The love they had shared. Now that love would live only in the time and space around him, and the memory of his loss. In his heart, in his soul.
His mind closed into darkness.
He had taught him so much. Love, friendship. Life. What it meant to love someone so totally that someone totally consumed your thoughts.
He fell to his knees, hands clutching the soil as if it were his love's body, and he would never let go.

"Kakarott.....Kakarott....." He said the name over and over, the crystal tears finally spilling from his eyes to trace sorrow down his face.

He looked up at the sky, knowing he was there.
Then he smiled, as he felt the warm feeling rush through him, the courage to go on. To learn to love. To live. Forever in his heart, he would be. Never forgotten.
